2 cups of shredded coconut meat (unsweetened and organic) 

1 cup of coconut milk (full fat) 

2 tablespoons of coconut sugar 

2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour (preferably gluten-free) 

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract 

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt


Get your oven preheated to 350°F. 

In the meantime, reach for a large baking sheet and have it lined with parchment paper. Set aside. 

Grab a medium-sized saucepan and whisk together coconut milk, coconut sugar and sea salt over medium heat. 

When the mixture is already steaming, whisk in all-purpose flour. 

Keep on string until the entire mixture is boiling. 

Once the mixture is already boiling, switch off the stove. Stir in coconut meat and vanilla extract. 

Using a spoon, carefully arrange scoops of the mixture on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Some people prefer using a cookie or an ice cream scoop for consistency size- and shape-wise. 

Stash the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 15 minutes or until the macaroons are golden brown. 

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and then carefully transfer the macaroons to a cooling rack.
