There are instances in your life when your tasks for the day seem to be quite overwhelming to the point that you find yourself pressed for time. But ask yourself this, we all get to live the same hours of the day, but how come some people can do everything within the day while you struggle with yours? Well, if you want to be able to do everything in a day, you might want to start paying attention to what you can do in just a span of ten minutes. Most of us check our social media accounts when we have time to spare but instead of putting these minutes to good use, you are simply squandering it. So, what can you do? Here are a few tips to help you out.

Make a list

I think that this is the most important thing for you to do when you have ten minutes to spare. It can be a list of the other tasks that you need to finish within the day, or a list of groceries that you have to pick up after work, or even make a list of the things that you are grateful for.

Call your family

If you think that getting in touch with your family means sending them a message through Facebook, you can do better than that. A more personal approach will be better received instead of just pinging them online. And for ten minutes, you’ll get to catch up with one another too.

Fix your space

Another thing that you can do in 10 minutes or less is to make your work space less cluttered. There are times when we just put everything that we need on our desk that we barely get to see how disorganized we have become. With that being said, use your ten minutes to fix your space up. You might be surprised to find that you’ll actually feel better because of it and your work space is clearer and cleaner too.


What other powerful thing that you can do in ten minutes. Pickup a book and read. With all the work that we are doing in a day, indulging our mind with a nice book, even for 10 minutes, can do you a world of good. You might even pick up the habit of reading because of it too which isn’t bad.

Go for a walk

If you have 10 minutes to spare while you are in the office, use it to go for a walk. Not only will this help clear your mind but it will also help improve your overall health too.
