How to Slow Aging Naturally

A lot of people are getting serious about slowing down signs of aging, to the point that they are spending hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on skin care treatments just to remove those fine lines and wrinkles that are appearing around their eyes and mouth. But do you really have to spend a lot just to look younger than your years? Well, not really.

The good news is that there are several ways in which you can keep aging at bay, without having to spend a lot of money in the process. What are these steps? Here are a few to get you started.

Resistance training

Exercising those muscles through resistance training is one of the easiest ways to keep aging at bay since your skin is stretched taut over those large muscles of yours. And it’s not just preventing signs of aging that you are going to get from working out, but you’ll also feel stronger, lighter, and healthier too.

Have some dark chocolate

It’s true that eating sweets is going to be bad for you, but not when you opt for the dark chocolate ones. Dark chocolate, or those that are made from 70% cacao, has this bittersweet taste that can satisfy your sweet tooth, while delivering antioxidants that can combat skin cell damage. Have a small piece of dark chocolate during meal times to enjoy its benefits.

Sip on bone broth

Bone broth is another tip on how you will be able to slow down aging naturally. This particular broth has been found to contain numerous minerals in that that can be absorbed by the skin quickly. This can include magnesium, calcium, silicon, phosphorus, and Sulphur which can contribute to your skin’s overall health.

Eat fish

Fish like salmon, sardines, tuna, and the like are highly recommended when it comes to slowing down aging because they contain antioxidants as well as omega-3 fatty acids that can protect your skin against damage. If you want to protect your skin further, drizzle some olive oil into the mix and you’ll get a meal that is not only skin friendly, but heart friendly too.
