Have carbohydrates

There is a common misconception that all carbohdyrates are bad, but there are certain types of carbs that your body needs to elevate your energy levels, fill your stomach, and even enhance your mood as well. Rice, oats, beans, and potatoes are just a few options to consider as they will not cause your weight to go up at all.

Stock on the right foods

For those who have easy access to your fridge in your dorm, this means that you have better control on the food that you are eating. Loading up on foods such as carrots, hummus, whole grain wraps, and low-fat cheese can be good for you in keeping your weight down since your food intake revolves around healthy options.

Drink more water

Another thing that can help you with your diet and your weight while you are in college is that you need to drink more water. Water is essential to your overall health as it helps flush out any toxins that are in your body that is causing your body to retain water. You need to ensure that your body is well hydrated all the time, especially when you are being active all the time.
