How to Get Rid of Gallstones Without Undergoing the Knife

Most of the time, gallstones have to be removed surgically, which can definitely come with certain risks and complications. There are also medications available for people with gallstones, but they have to be taken for very long periods of time. Also, just like with any other medication on the planet, there are some side effects involved.

If you have gallstones and you don’t want to take risks by undergoing the knife or flushing pharmaceutical drugs down your throat, continue reading. Below you will find out how you can eliminate gallstones naturally.

Take note that the steps you will come across below will work only if your gallstones are not that big, and are not really keeping you from leading a normal life by the symptoms associated with them. And just like when attempting to try a home remedy for any health problem, let your doctor know about your plan first.

Drink a Glass of Apple Juice

For the first 4 to 6 weeks of trying to dissolve those gallstones sans the knife or drugs, consume an 8-oz glass of apple juice in the morning and in the evening, too. This is something that will loosen those gallstones, making it easier for them to be flushed out of your body.

Certainly, it’s a great idea to make apple juice from scratch — by putting organically-grown apples through your juicer. If you don’t own a juicer, feel free to simply buy apple juice at your favorite supermarket. However, make sure that it’s something that’s 100 percent pure, containing no sugar, preservatives and any other unwanted ingredient.

Include More Fiber-Rich Foods in the Diet

While regularly consuming apple juice, see to it that your everyday diet contains foods that are high in fiber. This is very important because your entire digestive system has to be in tip-top shape, making it highly capable of sweeping out those gallstones.

Make sure that you eat plenty of fruits and vegetables as they are loaded with fiber. While you’re at it, steer clear of fatty and greasy foods that can get in the way of your plan of removing gallstones in an all-natural fashion.

Perform a Day-Long Juice Fast

One the last day of the 6th week of doing the above steps, you will undergo fasting. This means that no solid food may be consumed. Fret not because this will only last for an entire day, plus it’s just a semi-fast, not a full one.

In the morning, drink a glass of apple juice. You may also have another glass of it at lunch time. Feel free to drink water in between servings of apple juice. Do not drink a glass of apple juice at night. Instead, what you will drink is something that’s out of 4 oz lemon juice and 8 oz extra virgin olive oil.

Do take note that the lemon juice has to be freshly-squeezed, and not the kind that comes in a box or bottle. Such is done in order to prevent introducing into the body anything that may render this home remedy for gallstones ineffective.

Take an All-Natural Laxative That’s Fast-Acting

The following day, do not consume a glass of apple juice as you normally would. Instead, a fast-acting and an all-natural laxative will be taken. It can be Epsom salts or citrate of magnesia.

A few hours after taking the laxative of your choice, you will feel repeated urges to use the bathroom. This is perfectly normal because of the laxative that you have taken in the morning. Each time you move your bowels, observe your stools as you may chance upon pea-sized green things — those are your gallstones.
