Exercises to Remove Orange Peel Thighs

Cellulite is a problem that most women have as these fatty deposits tend to form into lumps underneath the skin. They resemble orange peels at first glance and tend to accumulate around the buttocks and thighs. It can be unsightly, sure, but this doesn’t mean that you can’t do anything about their removal. But before you actually consider getting surgery to remove cellulite, you might want to consider going the natural route which is through exercise. If you want to say good bye to orange peel thighs, these exercises are for you.

Booty pushup 

Sit on the floor with your knees bent and feet on the floor. Your hands should be placed on the floor behind you for support. Lift yourself up from the floor. While keeping your left knee bent, raise your right leg off th floor then extend your right leg until it is straight with the foot flexed. Bend your arms to lower your butt close to the ground but don’t touch the floor. Push yourself back up then pull your leg in. Repeat this step 10 times before switching to the other leg. 

Side saddle leg lifts 

Lie on your side with your legs extended with feet flexed. Place the top hand on the floor in front of your abs with the other hand, supporting your head. The bottom leg should be extended throughout the exercise. Lift the top leg 6 to 8 inches then pulse 20 times. In the highest point of your raised leg, draw a one-inch circle with your heel 20 times. While your leg is raised, bend and extend your leg 20 times. If you need more challenge, raise your top leg as high as you can 10 to 20 times. 

Plie squat to sidekicks 

For this exercise, you should stand straight with your feet a bit wider than your hips’ width with your toes turned out. Lower yourself into a squat with your hands placed at your waist. Push yourself up while shifting your weight to your left leg while raising your right leg to a side kick. Lower your leg back then do another squat. Now move your weight to your right leg and raise your left leg to perform another side kick. Keep alternating until you complete 10 reps.Step-ups. You should look for a bench or chair that when you place your foot on, your knee will be bent to 90 degrees. Step up 20 times with your right leg being the lead and bringing your left foot beside it. Lower yourself back down with the left leg then right. To switch to the other leg, lower yourself back down with your right foot then the left and repeat. Do 10 reps on either side.
