Atopic dermatitis, or more commonly known as eczema, is a type of skin condition that causes your skin to become red and prone to itching. Calamine lotion

Install a humidifier

Dry air is no friend to someone who has eczema as this can only make their condition worse. If this is the case, it would be a good idea to install a humidifier in your bedroom, or in your living room, to create more moisture in the air which will be absorbed by your skin. Magnesium bath

Magnesium is often found in numerous sea salt spray, but you can also take advantage of this ingredient to help alleviate your skin condition. Soaking in water may help soothe your skin’s irritation, but for some eczema patients, this only exacerbates the problem. If your skin can tolerate magnesium, add 2 cups of magnesium flakes, 10 drops of essential oils and a teaspoon of vanilla extract to your bath water before soaking in it. Your skin will thank you for this treatment soon enough.

Bone broth

Another way to alleviate your eczema problems is to sip some bone broth which is rich in vitamins and minerals as well as gelatin which can soothe the pain in your skin during flare ups.

Eczema can be a source of discomfort, but these tips can help you get rid of the flare ups in no time. Finding out what triggers your condition can help you avoid the flare ups in the long run. If possible, make sure that you are getting enough hydration and apply moisturizer regularly.
