Decoding What Your Face is Trying to Tell You

Chinese medicine involves studying what the face of the patient is trying to tell with regards to the body’s constitution. This is quite logical as the skin on our face is sensitive and can yield signs that only those who are familiar with how our body speaks can understand. If you see acne or pimples forming in different areas of your face, they might be telling you something already.

Fortunately, you can read what your face is trying to tell you based on the guide below.

Forehead. Pimples that appear on the forehead can mean that you are suffering from digestive issues. These issues can be caused by too much consumption of processed foods, sugars, and fats too. Consuming too much alcohol can also be blamed for this as well as high stress levels. If you do drink alcoholic beverages, make sure that you drink adequate amounts of water to help flush the toxins from your body to aid your digestion.

Between the brows. Notice that some pimples appear between your brows? It is possible that this is due to those late night outs you’ve been doing lately and consuming too much alcoholic drinks. Food allergy can also trigger pimples to form in this area so you might want to cut back on your partying ways and drinking habits for a change. Load up on water instead to get rid of the blemishes fast.

Eyebrow arch. Pimples appearing on the arch of your eyebrows can mean some kidney issues. Keep in mind that kidneys can be vulnerable to over consumption of alcohol and smoking cigarettes. When your kidneys are impaired they can prevent your blood from flowing properly which can also trigger heart problems when you’re not careful. A good solution to avoid this is to drink less alcohol and more on water.

Around the eyes. Dark circles or zits appearing around your eyes may be something you are already familiar with and are simply dismissing because you tend to sleep late. This is possible, true, but there might be an underlying issue here that you need to address such as your kidneys. It is possible that you are dehydrated hence the dark circles and pimples are starting to appear. With that being said, it is better that you increase your water intake and avoid drinking soda, coffee, and alcohol too while you are at it. Not only will your kidneys thank you for it but your skin will too.

Nose. Zits on the nose? You’re probably suffering from impaired blood circulation, high acidity levels in your stomach, air pollution, and bloating just to name a few. It is also possible that these symptoms can lead to high blood pressure if you are not careful. In the more severe cases, heart issues can occur too. If you suspect that you have high blood pressure, make sure that you visit your doctor on a regular basis. Have some green tea too to help fight off free radicals in your system.

Around the ears. Can pimples appear on or around the ears? Yes, it is possible. And these pimples might be telling you something about the state of your kidneys too. When there are pimples forming around this area, it might be a good idea to watch your consumption of coffee. Make sure that you are drinking up to 8 glasses of water daily to help flush out any toxins that are lingering inside you.

Cheekbones. When acne breaks out along your cheekbones, they might be pointing at some breathing issues that you are suffering from. Cigarette smoking, air pollution, and other possible factors can trigger this acne breakout. If you are a smoker, consider reducing the amount of cigarettes that you smoke on a daily basis. You should also limit your exposure to those who does since second hand smoke can also be deadly.
