Benefits and Recipes of Apple Cider Vinegar Foot Soak

It’s not just our face that we need to pay attention to as our feet need our tender loving and care too. Our feet are often roughed up throughout the day what with all the walking that we do, enclosed in snug shoes that are barely breathable. It’s no wonder, really, for us to find our feet developing calluses and our nails looking the worse for wear at times. And think about the odor too!

Fortunately, treating our feet doesn’t have to be that difficult nor too expensive because making your own foot soak can be a blessing for our tired feet. One of the best foot soaks that you can use is apple cider vinegar as it is packed with numerous benefits that your feet will love.

Benefits of Apple Cider Vinegar Foot Soak

Deodorizes feet

Are you troubled with the smell coming from your feet? Apple cider vinegar can neutralize the smell easily as it has antibacterial properties that can get rid of the bacteria lingering on your feet and freshening up your feet too.

Flushes toxins

Another benefit to using an apple cider vinegar foot soak is that it can flush out any toxins that may be causing your feet to dry up and smell.

Exfoliates your feet

Dead skin cells can pile up on your feet when you don’t take care of them regularly but doing a foot soak can help soften them up so that they are easy to remove with a pumice stone. Removing dead skin cells can help reveal healthier and newer skin cells.

Treats toenail fungus

If you have nail fungus, doing an apple cider vinegar soak is going to be useful as it can help get rid of fungal infections easily. Add a few drops of Listerine to your apple cider vinegar foot soak and you’ll speed up the healing process too.
