So without further ado, here’s how you can turn zucchini into chips:

Ingredients:

1 large-sized zucchini

2 tablespoons of olive oil

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt (finely ground)

1/4 teaspoon of black pepper (ground)

Directions:

-Switch on the oven to have it preheated to 375°F — that’s 190°C.

-In the meantime, thoroughly wash your large-sized zucchini under running water. It’s important to clean the vegetable beforehand because we’re not going to peel it. Some of the nutrients can be found in its peel so you surely don’t want them to go to waste.

-Carefully, start slicing your zucchini. Always remember that the thinner, the better. If you have a mandoline slicer lying around in your kitchen, use it by all means.

-Grab a large mixing bowl and place all of your zucchini slices in it. Drizzle with extra virgin olive oil and mix.

-Season the chips with garlic powder, sea salt and black pepper. Mix again very well.

-Reach for a large baking tray and line it with parchment paper. Neatly arrange the chips across it.

-Bake for 10 minutes. Carefully flip over the chips and bake for another 10 minutes.

-Transfer the baking tray onto a wire rack to allow your zucchini chips to cool for about 5 minutes.

-Serve and enjoy!
